The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on August 24, 2026, issued the amendment in the Export Policy of Wheat Flour and related products.
The Government has amended the Export Policy for Wheat Flour and related products under Schedule 2 of the ITC (HS) Export Policy. The export policy for Wheat or Meslin Flour (Atta), Maida, Semolina (Rava/Sirgi), Wholemeal Atta and Resultant Atta, classified under HS Code 11010000, has been revised from “Prohibited” to “Free” with immediate effect. Accordingly, exporters can now freely export these wheat flour products without the earlier prohibition, subject to other applicable requirements under the Foreign Trade Policy and relevant laws.
